200-acre farm in pristine forest opens the door to pure bliss: immersion in the arts, nature and community!
For over 40 years, Blissfest Music Festival has gathered thousands of music lovers for a weekend rooted in art, culture, the great outdoors and connection in northern Michigan. Whether you camp on site under the sun, moon and stars, or come and go as you please, you are sure to find wonder and inspiration at every turn.
“We consider ourselves a true discovery festival; to do that, we must mine talent through the state of Michigan, across the country, and around the globe. What has turned up this year are some true gems! We have the groovy Wood Brothers, the virtuosic Sarah Jarosz, the “Hendrix of the Sahara” in Vieux Farka Touré, genre-bending ukulele player Taimane from Hawaii, Irish musician and North Carolina-based John Doyle, and the list goes on! All the artists we present are real masters of their craft, even if their names might be new to you. We can’t wait for you to be ‘wowed’ by all the talent to be found in three short days across ten performance areas.” – Caroline Barlow, Artistic Director
